Rev Carleen DeVan

A pillar of strength for the Centre, Carleen Devan guided Eternal Life Spiritual Centre for over fifteen years.

Born on April 7, 1934, in Montreal, Quebec, Carleen was raised as a Roman Catholic. As she grew from a young girl to a young woman, she felt that spiritually, she was wanting for more answers, and truths, than what she felt the Roman Catholic Church provided.

As she searched for spiritual enlightenment, Carleen met Farther John Rossner, and Anglican Priest and his wife Marilyn, who were starting a Spiritual Foundation of their own. This became the organization know as the Spiritual Science Fellowship. Carleen developed her mediumship and spirituality, in this environment.

By way of Halifax, she moved to Ontario to the Durham Region, continuing her work in Spiritualism. She became a member of Eternal Life Spiritual Centre, and in time became the Centre’s President.

Known for her passion and dedication to spiritual enlightenment, Carleen Devan presided over and guided the membership’s Spiritual growth, with impactful speakers, and insightful seminars and workshops.

Currently, Carleen has returned to Montreal to be closer to family.
